Anl\u00e4sslich des 100. Geburtstags des Komponisten, Architekten und Multimediak\u00fcnstlers Iannis Xenakis haben sich Studierende beider Fachbereiche der Hochschule f\u00fcr K\u00fcnste Bremen mit seinem Werk \u201cPolytope de Cluny (1972)\u201d besch\u00e4ftigt, einem fr\u00fchen Meilenstein der immersiven digitalen Medienkunst.<\/p>\n

Dazu entwickelten sie eine Lichtinstallation, die sich an Xenakis historischem Projekt orientiert, es aber auf neue, digitale und ortsspezifische Weise interpretiert. Daf\u00fcr wurden 8 Moving Heads, 4 Hochleistungs-Projektoren, 12 eigens angefertigte motorisierte Motoren und diverse weitere Licht- und Medientechnik verwendet. Gleichzeitig wurden die originalen Tonspuren auf einem 32 Kanal 3D-Lautsprechersystem aufbereitet und neue r\u00e4umliche Audiokompositionen pr\u00e4sentiert, die auf Xenakis‘ Ideen reagieren.<\/p>\n
