A virtual journey that physically happened
Here we present you a first glimpse into what we’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks. »Transkutan« is a journey through the numerous membranes of the skin — based entirely on analog footage we produced and collected. Thus, everything you see actually happened in real life, including multicoloured fluids, bubbles, magnetic formations, oscillating membranes, human skin and underwater phenomena.
The layout and scope of the organism is mapped to custom built stencils of the target façade: The city palace of Karlsruhe.
