We are very proud to be nominated for this year’s Media Architecture Award at the MAB20 together with the German Maritime Museum, Westermann Kommunikation, Dirk Mailänder and Lightlife. In our media art installation GEZEITEN as a part of the „Window into the Seas“ project, we staged the novel LED frame on the iconic façade of the Maritime Museum Bremerhaven complemented by projection and video art inside the museum. The focus was on the themes of tides, sea, ice and climate research. Stay in touch to find out how the award ceremony turned out.
The „Open Space“ project aims to reactivate the Domshof at the city centre of Bremen through culture, music and artistic interventions. For the theme-day on „Sustainability“ we developed a site-specific projection and sound installation onto some of the trees surounding the stage.
We are looking forward to further cooperations in the future!
We are very sad, that the Luminale has been cancelled, including our two installations „BE\\LONGING“ and „AUFBRUCH/MOSAiC“. We fully understand the decision of the organisers, here you can find more information: https://www.luminale.de/en/news/luminale-is-canceled-3/
Luckily we had the chance to take a video of our projection onto the Alte Oper Frankfurt yesterday already, so we will at least have a virtual premiere on Youtube today at 19:30 under the following link: https://youtu.be/_aAmYUD8DIY
All the best to everyone in this stressfull times!
We are very happy to contribute a small installation to the opening of the Stadtlabor Soest. If you have time, come by today from 3pm to discuss about the digital future, play with tiny robots and of course see our projection
We are thrilled and very honoured to be amongst the first prize winners of this year’s Designpreis Brandenburg. Thanks to the wonderful team, the jury and all the people who supported us along the way.

Last week we had the chance to hold a workshop at Lichtcampus Wismar and show the workflow of a typical facade Projection Mapping on the example of the Unesco Welterbehaus Hansestadt Wismar. Lorenz Potthast held the workshop and extended his actions and experiences in the education sector. Also check out his biography to experience his other efforts and tasks in this field.
We think that the results are awesome especially regarding that the workhop only went for two days. Thanks to the students who took part in the workshop, places that helped us (Lilja Walker Möbeldesign, Das Boot Wismar e. V.) and the whole Lichtcampus team.
Our very own Lorenz Potthast represented Xenorama at this years International Symposium on Electronic Arts (ISEA) in Durban, South Africa. He was involved into various workshops, projection art and presentations! He took the opportunity to meet a lot of old friends from his term abroad and also to make some new friends along the way.

Experience our collaboration with the STEGREIF.orchester tonight at the Pergamonmuseum Berlin. The World Cultural Heritage Site, consisting of exhibits from the Orient and Occident (which you also can experience online here), is brought to life by a unique light and music show. The musicians will stride through the otherwordly scenario inside the world famous museum together with us. They present classical pieces as well as improvisational parts. We will support and interact with them by augmenting the space with classical illumination, virtual reality and projection mapping upon the exhibits.
Unfortunately the show is sold out already. If you are lucky you can buy left over tickets at the box office.
