LANDSCAPE OF PERCEPTION is an immersive installation where industrial materials—translucent plastics, mirrored panels, and projection light—form a living environment responsive to the visitors current state of mind. The work explores how perception unfolds between human attention and constructed space. The project stems from reflection on how modern landscapes have shifted—from nature to construction, from organic to artificial. This tension is mirrored in the installation: synthetic materials evoke natural light and water, creating a meditative, reflective terrain.
Visitors wear an EEG headset that detects five mental states—arousal, focus, drowsiness, meditation, and neutrality. These states trigger corresponding visual and sonic compositions generated in TouchDesigner and Max/MSP, using AI-driven image prompts to shape the evolving projections.
Through real-time interaction, LANDSCAPE OF PERCEPTION becomes a breathing perceptual field—a space where technology, architecture, and human awareness merge. It invites the audience to witness perception not as passive observation, but as a living, co-created landscape.
