DREAM BUBBLE MACHINE
DREAM BUBBLE MACHINE
Projection on Smoke-Filled Soap Bubbles
Premiered in July 2012
A dark room with a raw, restless machinery. It produces soap bubbles filled with smoke and projected images.
Cast onto the spherical bubbles, the contents are transformed into an aesthetic notion. They are moving and flickering, to will eventually disappear once the bubble bursts. The images projected are of a fortune-uniformed media landscape, that creates dreams as fast as it extinguishes them.
The installation makes light visible not only at the emitter and where it strikes the transient surface, but also within the space between. The levitating, incorporeal images that emerge, appear as if they were painted in the air with light.
