DIGITAL UNREALISM
DIGITAL UNREALISM
270° Projection Mapping in courtyard
Premiered in October 2025
Comissioned by Video Mapping Festival
Presented at Cloister Dewailly, Amiens, France
The project explores the interplay of digital aesthetics with phenomena of light, the imitation of physical processes, and the boundaries of computer-generated imageries. Through a poetic fusion of technology and perception, it investigates how light, color, and motion can evoke a material presence within the digital realm.
The façade of the building undergoes a continuous alteration of aggregate states, transforming from the tangible to the ephemeral and back again, reflecting the increasingly blurred borders between physical and virtual realities. The atmospheric animation envelops the viewer, accompanied by an original soundscape that deepens the sensorial resonance of this transient audiovisual dialogue.
It was projected as an immersive 270° experience in the courtyard of Cloister Dewailly for the closing ceremony of Video Mapping Festival 2025 in Amiens, France.
